Hi there!
Thanks for wanting to learn more about this publication. I was inspired by my background in coming up with the title, “Trust, but verify”. It’s important to assume good intentions and, at the same time, do your own due diligence, as no one has a monopoly on insight.
I’m interested in increasing my sense of coherence within the salutogenic framework. In other words, it is the ongoing pursuit of knowledge to make better sense of the world around me and how we relate to it.
Writing helps me retain what I’ve learned and ferret out blind spots. It is also my hope that others will benefit from the hours spent researching, synthesizing, and writing. Further, I’d love to meet others who share my interests through this publication.
The range of topics can be widespread: mimetic desire, our conception of pain, reflexivity, and fraud. My background is in stock market research, so at times when I sense dislocation (and believe I have a differentiated insight), I have written on this as well.
